Daily Cryptogram
Crack today’s code
Every letter has been swapped for another. Work out the substitution to reveal a line from classic detective fiction. A new puzzle arrives every day at midnight UTC.
How to play
- Each cipher letter (small gold letter) stands for one real letter. The substitution stays the same across the whole puzzle.
- Tap or click a letter, then type your guess on your keyboard or the keys above. Every matching cipher letter fills in at once.
- Stuck? Reveal a letter up to three times, or switch on Show mistakes.
- No letter ever stands for itself. Short words like A, I and THE are good places to start.
